I’ve enjoyed writing in rhyme since my early childhood years. I recall one day in particular, my sister walked into the room with a notepad and a pen. She proceeded to mention that she was going to write a “rhyming poem” which piqued my curiosity. From that day on, I wrote poems about anyone or anything that came to mind. My silly friends and family, our neighbor’s cat, the Christmas tree, seriously anything! It wasn’t until many years later however, that this love of mine took on a different form – creating books for children. It gives me so much joy to see a child’s face light up when I’m sharing one of my stories with them. . . It’s truly rewarding!

Aside from writing, I love spending time with my family and our two dogs.  I also enjoy working on puzzles, going to flea markets in search of vintage treasures, enjoying time out in nature, playing an occasional round of golf (poorly I might add), and going on road trips. Oh, I almost forgot to mention. . . horseback riding!
